The reported death toll from the latest ( Phase III) of this this protest, which began last week, has passed 100 without including what is happening in Ambo as as we speak. This brings the reported total death toll since November 12 , 2015 to over 330. When we add the death from the 2014, the number climbs to 408. Mind you this is only the reported death. It doesn’t include those who might have died later as result of their wound, the unreported and those who disappeared. Also note since most University students and urban youth do not live with family, unless someone sees their body with ID they are unlikely to be reported.
